Doctor Philip Bloom is a specialist Sports Physician consulting in Melbourne out of Sportsmed Biologic. Philip has been a sports physician for over 20 years and is medical director at Sportsmed Biologic.
Philip has a special interest in interventional sports medicine and delivers a number of specialised techniques for various musculoskeletal disorders. These interventional therapies include PRP (platelet rich plasma) injections for muscle, tendon and ligaments, Orthokine Therapy, and Fat Derived Stem Cell Therapy.
Philip has also been at the forefront of treating patients with Neural Prolotherapy (NPT) in Australia. Based on clinical experience, NPT is effective in treating nerve pain associated with injuries to joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
