Sports and Exercise Medicine Registrar
Emma is currently a sports and exercise medicine registrar who works at Sportsmed Biologic as well as across multiple divisions of the Hawthorn Football Club.
She is the head doctor of their VFL team and works with their AFL team.
She is also now in her third year as the head doctor for the Victoria Country Under 18s team.
She graduated from Monash University in 2020 and undertook her internship and residency years at the Alfred Hospital, with a combination medicine, trauma orthopedics and emergency.
She is currently doing research in concussion and cardiac screening.
Emma has been passionate about Sports and Exercise Medicine since early in her medical school years and has attended and presented original research at national conferences for many years. She is very enthusiastic about keeping people healthy and exercising whether that be to play elite sport or to enjoy their day to day life.
Emma very much looks forward to applying these principles to her work at Sportsmed Biologic.
